When I arrived for my appointment, Ann took the time to listen to my issues and asked several questions before we got started. The room was clean, tranquil and relaxing. Ann realized that my issue was not actually in my knee, but stemming from other muscles in my leg. After my appointment, I got off the table and for the first time in months, my knee felt fine! It is now 3 months later and I have not had any issues with that knee again. I was able to get back to my full workouts and I was able to sleep again!
A few weeks ago, I began to have pain in my shoulder. This time, I didn’t wait and made an appointment with Ann. She was honest and set up realistic expectations for this session. She greatly reduced the pain I was having and when she followed up with me a few days later, she offered to “tweak” my shoulder to see if we could improve it a little more. It really helped!
Ann is competent, professional and compassionate. You can tell by talking with her that she loves what she does and is really concerned about helping you. I would recommend her to anyone who is experiencing pain or discomfort. You’ve got nothing to lose and so much to gain! Ann is amazing!”
“I started having pain in my knee last summer. I’m not the type of person to run to the doctor or get help for an issue, especially at first. I work out several times per week and I noticed that my knee pain was getting worse over time. By the end of summer, the pain was almost constant. It was not allowing me to do my workouts with full effort and even worse, it was interrupting my sleep. Finally realizing that muscle rub and OTC pain relievers were not cutting it, I went to the doctor. I ended up with a prescription which did work to relieve the pain, but I knew I didn’t want to be on it forever. After 6 weeks on the meds, I stopped them and realized the pain was still there. I was miserable. I was tired of the pain and not being able to be as active as I wanted to be. A friend at the gym asked if I had tried massage. I hadn’t thought about it before, but decided to give it a shot. I have known Ann for many years, since we were teenagers. I knew she did massage therapy, so I contacted her.
